Ordering is easy using our convenient shopping cart feature. Credit cards can be used using the secure ordering form. Keep in mind that we do have a $15 minimum. Please use an item number for those items that have one. If an item does not have an item number just use a brief description. Please be sure to fill out the required information, including your name, address and phone number. This information is only used for shipping and credit card processing. We DO NOT sell your private information or use it for any purpose other than processing your order. If you prefer to send a money order or check, please check the box marked ‘Check/Money Order’ on the order form and we will place the item on hold for 7 days until payment arrives. Check or money orders should be made payable to FossilsOnline.
Checks will delay shipment until it clears the bank. Payments made by credit card ship within a day or two of payment. At this time we only accept Visa and Mastercard.
Florida residents must add 7% sales tax or submit a resale certificate.
Shipping will be determined at the time of order based on buyer’s location and weight of package. We don’t make money on shipping or charge a handling fee. When UPS and the USPS start to sell fossils then I will make money on shipping. Most items will ship via Priority Mail. Larger/heavier items will ship via UPS, which includes a tracking number. For the most part, shipping will automatically be calculated when you fill out the secure order form.
We do ship internationally and have been doing so via Airmail or Express Mail (EMS) for years with virtually no problems.
If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may return it (in original condition) within 10 days for a refund, credit or exchange (minus shipping). We cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged items that are returned to us, so please pack securely and insure it. Also, please let us know in advance that you intend to return something.
Let us know what item you are looking for and we will try to locate it for you. Where applicable, use the Latin name to ensure accuracy.
