What a heartbreaker! The amazing preservation on this tooth leads me to belive that this tooth is just as it was the day it fell out of the shark's mouth. If not for the feeding damage, this one would be one of the finest I have come across lately. The bourlette is absolutely flawless and flows seamlessly into the enamel. The enamel on the flat side flows seamlessly into to the root without even the tiniest flake missing. The color is that greenish gray with hints of blue that make teeth from this area so desirable. If not for the damage, this one would be worth a pretty penny.
