Rare Megalonyx Calcaneus Florida Fossils
Very rare left calcaneum bone from the early Pleistocene sloth, Megalonyx leptostomus. There are only two of these per animal and they are not common at all from any sloth. This one is about as close to perfect as you could hope for. Heavily mineralized and solid.
