Onchopristis Tooth in a SM display case

This well-preserved Onchopristis tooth fossil, from an extinct fish of the Cretaceous period held in a 4.5"x 5.5" display case.

Onchopristis was a giant prehistoric sawfish that thrived during the Cretaceous Period, approximately 100 million years ago. Notably discovered in Morocco’s fossil-rich Kem Kem Beds, it featured a distinctive rostrum lined with sharp, barbed teeth, resembling a saw blade. This remarkable adaptation made it a fearsome predator in ancient river systems, feeding primarily on fish and smaller marine life. Fossilized rostral teeth of Onchopristis from Morocco are highly prized among collectors for their impressive size and unique appearance.
