Nanotyrannus Tooth .97"
This Nanotyrannus tooth was found on the surface, right where grass and roots weave through the soil. Years of exposure to the elements and plant growth left it scratched and worn, giving it a rugged, timeworn look. The tip shows natural wear, but the serrations remain mostly intact—still hinting at the tooth’s original cutting power. Fossils found this close to the top often bear the marks of nature’s rough handling—while the real treasures tend to lie deeper down, where roots can’t reach and time has kept them better preserved.
No repair or restoration.
Nanotyrannus is a small, fast-moving tyrannosaur from the Late Cretaceous, found in the Lance Formation of Wyoming. Estimated to reach about 20 feet long, it had a slender build, a narrow skull, and more teeth than T. rex.
