Muonionalusta Meteorite Triangle Necklace .925
Muonionalusta triangle pendant with silver necklace.
About the Meteorite:
The Muonionalusta meteorite is one of the oldest known objects on Earth, estimated to be over 4.5 billion years old. It originated in the iron core of an ancient planetary body that shattered during the formation of our solar system. After a journey spanning millions of years, it fell to Earth over one million years ago, landing in what is now northern Sweden. It was officially discovered in 1906.
This rare meteorite is classified as a fine octahedrite iron-nickel meteorite, famed for its unique Widmanstätten pattern—a naturally occurring crystal structure that develops as molten metal cools extremely slowly in space. This mesmerizing pattern is impossible to replicate on Earth and is visible only in authentic meteorite slices.
