Crafted with precision and set in sterling silver, the Muonionalusta meteorite pendant features a stunning moldavite stone, showcasing the strength and beauty of this unique piece.
This radiant pendant brings together two of Earth’s most extraordinary visitors: Muonionalusta meteorite and Moldavite, suspended together in a sleek sterling silver setting. A gleaming green moldavite gem sits atop a circular Muonionalusta meteorite inlay, creating a powerful visual contrast and a truly otherworldly connection.
About the Pendant:
The top stone is Moldavite, a rare natural glass formed about 15 million years ago from the intense heat and pressure of a meteorite impact in what is now the Czech Republic. Its mossy green color and fluid texture hint at its explosive origin—and its ties to transformation and spiritual evolution have made it a favorite in metaphysical circles.
Beneath it lies a circular piece of Muonionalusta meteorite, etched to reveal its mesmerizing Widmanstätten pattern—a natural crystalline structure found only in iron meteorites. This pattern is the result of metal cooling over millions of years in the vacuum of space, and it cannot be replicated on Earth.
What is the Muonionalusta?
Discovered in 1906 in northern Sweden, the Muonionalusta is a fine octahedrite iron-nickel meteorite and one of the oldest known objects on Earth, formed more than 4.5 billion years ago in the core of an ancient planetary body. It fell to Earth over a million years ago, carrying with it a record of the early solar system’s formation.
