Muonionalusta Meteorite Anchor Pendant
This beautifully crafted anchor pendant carries even deeper meaning. It’s inlaid with genuine Muonionalusta meteorite, one of the oldest materials on Earth, and is expertly crafted with stainless steel.
The high-polish metal design outlines a bold anchor form, while the inset panels of Muonionalusta meteorite reveal the iconic Widmanstätten pattern—a naturally occurring crystal lattice that formed as molten metal cooled slowly over millions of years in the vacuum of space. No two patterns are alike, making every pendant a unique piece of interstellar history.
About the Meteorite:
The Muonionalusta meteorite is a fine octahedrite iron-nickel meteorite, believed to have formed more than 4.5 billion years ago, predating Earth itself. It originated deep within the molten core of a planetary body that was shattered during the chaotic formation of the solar system. After drifting through space for eons, it fell to Earth over one million years ago and was discovered in northern Sweden in 1906.
The etched Widmanstätten pattern on each piece is completely natural and impossible to replicate on Earth, making this pendant not only beautiful, but scientifically rare.
