Eagle Ray Mouth Plate Fossil in Original Matrix Bakersfield CA

Excellent example of a stingray mouth plate collected on Bob Ernst's property nearly twenty years ago.  

The fossil sits nicely atop the original sandstone from which is was found. There are some pieces of bone also in the matrix.
