The Campo del Cielo meteorites, meaning “Field of Heaven,” are incredible fragments of a meteorite that crashed to Earth in Argentina 4,000–5,000 years ago. These pieces of the cosmos traveled millions of miles from the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter before their fiery arrival, leaving behind craters—one over 100 feet wide.
Made of iron and nickel, they have a beautiful metallic shimmer that feels like holding a piece of the night sky. Ancient cultures cherished them, seeing them as gifts from the heavens. Today, these meteorites are treasured for their cosmic history, perfect for display or as a unique connection to the wonders of space.
