Known for its sharp, serrated teeth reminiscent of a modern-day steak knife, this shark could grow up to 7 meters in length. Fossil evidence indicates that the Ginsu shark was a top predator in ancient oceans, preying on a variety of marine animals, including fish, sea turtles, and smaller marine reptiles. Its fossils have been discovered primarily in North America, providing significant insights into the marine ecosystems of the Cretaceous era.
