Fossils from the early Miocene of Florida are extremely rare. Few sites produce terrestrial fossils from this time period in Florida and most of them are excavated by the university in Gainesville. One could dive Florida's rivers for years and never come across a single terrestrial fossil from this time period.

Very heavy and dense. Two great teeth. One has some enamel missing. Beautiful preservation and highly detailed. Rhino fossils are uncommon at this site so this is truly a unique offering.
