Unlike the bison jaws from out west, those from Florida are true fossils. Bison have been extinct in Florida for thousands of years. Bison fossils are not one of the most common finds. Jaws are pretty rare. The jaw has three original teeth, recovered from Withlacoochee river, Citrus County FL. Very heavily mineralized and solid.
