Very heavy and detailed bone from the Pleistocene giant sloth, Eremotherium laurillardi.

Eremotherium fossils in Florida are not all that common. I rarely come across any post cranial bones that are complete. This bone is large at 5.5” inches and very heavy with superb detail.

Recovered from a land site in SW Florida.
