Rare Location Megalodon Shark Tooth

This juvenile meg must have wandered into the shallow waters of what is now the Haile limestone quarry. This was a marine environment where many crocodile fossils were found. I have never heard one being found from this area that is late Miocene in age. Not large, but if youi are a locality collector, then this might be for you. The serrations are sharp and the root is so smooth it looks fake. Unusual color, too.
